Why do you wake up?? what motivates you to get out of your cosy, super cool bed every morning?? Is it the pursuit of Money or the pursuit of the Kingdom of God??. Jesus said in matthew6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cant serve both God and money.”
So i wonder what choice have you made… have u chosen to serve money, like how the American dream puts its?? Or have you chosen to serve God??
The word “serve” simply means: to offer yourself. The word “master” simply means: authority figure or controller. so serving money means offering yourself to money resulting in money having power over you and controlling you to do anything it tells you do to, WOW!!! What a master hey, been controlled by something that doesnt give you life. Money is a master than leads to NOWHERE in life. Dr. Myles Munroe said “Dont ever take someones money, because it is their master.”
In the kingdom, God will never violodate your will, He gave us free will to choose whatever we want to do. He wont force you to serve Him. Serving God requires you not to lust for money. He created money, so He knows better about it that any other person. Being controlled by God comes with benefits, He will supply you with riches, while being controlled by money comes wit stress…
